There is no perfect destination for a first solo trip: it all depends on your wishes and your travel style.
That said, some destinations are particularly well suited to a first solo trip — those that are close to home, easy to explore and well connected.
Major European cities are a perfect example. For instance: Rome, Lisbon, Amsterdam, and so on.
Travelling alone is not dangerous, provided you research the destination thoroughly and prepare your trip carefully. Solid planning, well-located accommodation and a thoughtful itinerary mean you can travel with complete peace of mind.
I plan trips in France, across Europe and internationally, on every continent.
However, for safety reasons, I do not plan trips to destinations considered sensitive or strongly advised against by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While preparing your bespoke trip, I brief you on every administrative formality you need to know about: passport validity, visa procedures, travel insurance and any vaccinations relevant to your destination.
To make these steps easier, I can also point you to specialised, reliable services I have personally used on my own trips.
That said, these formalities remain your responsibility. My role is to give you all the information and resources you need to handle them calmly and leave with a clear mind.
My role as a travel planner is to support you in the preparation and organisation of your trip so that everything unfolds in the best possible conditions.
Before you leave, you receive a detailed travel guide with every piece of useful information: itinerary, accommodation, activities, transport and practical tips.
Should anything unexpected happen on the ground (delay, change of plan, logistical issue), the relevant providers or services remain your direct point of contact, since you handle the bookings yourself.
Although my mission ends with the delivery of the travel guide, I remain available to advise and guide you if needed.
No. As a travel planner, I design and organise bespoke trips perfectly tailored to your wishes. I provide all the recommendations needed (itinerary, accommodation, activities), carefully chosen for a smooth and reassuring journey.
However, the bookings are made directly by you, which keeps you in control of your choices and your budget.
My fees correspond to the design and organisation of a bespoke trip as a travel planner. They do not cover the cost of flights, accommodation or activities, which remain your responsibility.
That said, every service included in my fees (custom itinerary creation, accommodation recommendations, activities, transport and practical tips) is designed to save you time, let you travel with peace of mind, and fully enjoy your solo journey.
Yes, of course. Whether you wish to travel alone with your child or take a few days for yourself, every project is studied with care.
